What personal data do we collect and for what purposes?

We collect personal information that you provide to us during your registration in the online ticket store of AEK such as your name, your ID number, your date of birth, gender and email address.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data

The processing of the above mentioned data is necessary for the following reasons:

1. The provision of services available electronically, inter alia, the purchase of tickets for the purposes of watching football matches

2. The application of the provisions of the Law on the Prevention and Suppression of Violence in Sports Venues Law of 2008 (N. 48 (I) / 2008) (http://www.cylaw.org/nomoi/indexes/2008_1_48.html) and all its modifications, namely for the purposes of implementing the provisions concerning the identification, the electronic sale of tickets and the registration of fans.

How long do we store your personal data?

Your personal data is not stored for longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Therefore, your personal data is stored for as long as necessary for the provision of our services unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law or your personal data is necessary to establish, exercise, and / or support legal claims by under the contract.

Who has access to your personal data?

Only authorized persons within our Association and any other authorized persons within organizations that process personal data on our behalf have access to your personal data. In addition, if required, we may share your information with government / regulatory / law enforcement agencies or other third parties, provided that this obligation is based on national or Community law.

What are your rights regarding your personal data?

Access: you have the ability to request access to and receive information about the personal data we hold about you

Correction: you can request that the data we hold about you be supplemented or corrected

Deletion: you can request the deletion of the personal data we hold about you under certain circumstances

Restriction of processing: you may request that your personal data be used only for specific purposes in the following cases: (a) when the accuracy of the personal data is questioned and until verified; instead of deleting the restriction of their use, (c) when the personal data is not needed for the purposes of processing, but it is necessary for you to establish, exercise, support legal claims, and legitimate reasons that concern us and prevail over the reasons why you oppose the processing.

Right of objection: this allows you to object to the processing of your personal data

Data portability: You have the right to receive your personal data free of charge in a form that allows you to access, use and process it using commonly used processing methods. You also have the right to request that, if technically possible, we transmit the data directly to another controller. This right exists for the data you have provided to us and their processing is carried out by automated means based on your consent or in execution of a relevant contract.

To exercise any of the above rights, contact the Personal Data Protection Department (DPO) of the Association at dpo@hte.com.cy. We will try to respond to any request as soon as possible and no later than 30 days from the receipt of the request. In case we will not be able to respond to your request within the aforementioned time period, we will inform you, explaining the reasons for any further delay which will not exceed the additional period of 60 days.

How do we protect your personal data?

Our Association implements appropriate technical and organizational measures aimed at the safe processing of personal data and the prevention of accidental loss or destruction and unauthorized and / or illegal access to them, their use, modification or disclosure. In any case, the operation of the internet and the fact that it is free to anyone does not guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to violate the applicable technical and organizational measures, gaining access and possibly using personal data for unauthorized and / or illegal purposes.

Minors under 14 years
